Hello again! Thanks for visiting my About Me Page!
My name is Jonathan Crawford. I graduated from Grove City College with degrees in Mathematics and Secondary Education. I am currently teaching 10th grade Geometry, and this is my first year of teaching (second semester of new classes). I want to be a great teacher because I want to foster students' love for learning and equip them as individuals.

Here are some fun facts about me:
- I am also a musician, and I worked on a Music Minor at Grove City. I have played piano for 17 years, but I also sing and play violin. In fact, I played violin with a group of other students at a Piano Guys concert in 2018.
- I have been a member of Kappa Delta Pi since 2019. My username is crawfordjmath.
- I love movies!! I try to make time to enjoy one when I can afford to take a break from the hectic life of a new teacher. My favorite for a while has been Mary Poppins, but that could change.
- I am a trivia geek. In high school I was involved in our Academic Competition team, and I like to boost my skills in my favorite topics on the app Quizup (this app was discontinued, sadly). Of course I love Jeopardy!, and I will sometimes make my own Jeopardy! games to play with my family.
- My first job was at a movie theater when I was 16. It was a fun job, but not a great one. I saw a lot more movies and ate a lot more popcorn in those months than ever (and no, I am not tired of popcorn - it is too good).
- You can see some examples of my work HERE.
- I get excited about teaching because I want to get my students excited about learning.
